My name is Gavin White, and if you’ve ridden a steel hardtail from a UK brand, there’s a good chance that I made it.

I’ve spent the last 26 years with a torch in my hand, perfecting my welding and thinking about how I’d do things for myself. Now it’s my turn to offer my version of the perfect mountain bike.

Growing up in the middle of the East Midlands coal fields in the UK, I was surrounded by hard working, tough blokes who weren’t scared of getting their hands dirty. This was the inspiration for the brand name, and that same hard working, no BS mentality carries over to my bikes. They’re as tough and resilient as a coal miner - built for riders to ride big!

Back in the day I was a world level bmx racer, but these days I’m more interested in mucking about the woods on a mountain bike and that’s exactly what my bikes are made for. You may still see some bmx styling thrown in there but make no mistake, these retro looking machines are as modern feeling as you can get.
